10. Crow and Peacock

Once upon a time, both Crow and Peacock were best friends and had same feather colors, gray. They knew themselves were ugly so they didn’t appear front of other birds. Peacock in Crow’s eyes was uglier than him because Peacock had a small head and a long neck that they didn’t connect to his body.

tale of crow and peacock
One day, Crow talked Peacock:
“A painter was painting nearly so we should come and steal some colors to paint on our feathers and make it beautiful” said Crow
Peacock bowed his head. That day, the painter hadn’t finished his picture so he left his jar of colors on ground and took a nap. The first time, they stole a paintbrush and some jars then hid them on mound middle lake nearly. The second, they planned to go and steal again but the panter had woken up and came his home so they only took a jar of ink and a pocket of purl he had left.
“Right, we start painting, yet” said Crow
Crow made Peacock lie down and began painting. Crow painted very beautiful. First, he painted on Peacock’s head then to neck by green then dropped purl on. Then he continued painting wings and tail. He made Peacock spread his wings and tail. He painted particularly. Each quill, he painted a circle and painted ink into, dropped purl on.
Very pleased, Crow made Peacock dry his feather until it was really dry.
Peacock’s turn, he was embarrassed and didn’t know how to paint. Futher, green and purl almost over. Mine while, a bird which had a white feather related to Crow flew to and said: “Bother, what are you doing? Hurry, we must go to east now?”
“What for?” said Crow
“I have heard others talked that in which a war have happened. That was so many cadavers” said the other.
Crow had heard he could resist thinking about meat. He said:”Really, but I must be painted, waited me!”
“No, we must arrive before tonight. Tomorrow, they will be hidden” said the other
Crow said Peacock: “Please, Painting as fast as you can I am hurry”
The other saw Peacock became beautiful he wanted to be beautiful too so he asked Crow: “Bother, could you share me a little color. I also want to be more beautiful”
Crow agreed. Because Peacock was thinking about meat so Peacock poured the remaining ink from his head to his legs without his noticing. His beak also was painted in ink.
The other’s turn, Peacock also poured the ink on his head but he shrunk his neck so his head was till white. When they saw each other they realized they were painted by a bungler. But couldn’t do anything, they could only roar at Peacock minutes and flew up. They had never talked to Peacock again since that time.
Now day, Peacock have colorful feather and always show up themselves front others. On the other hand, Crow and his brother (maybe, named Corvus torquatus. I am not sure) always hide themslves from others sight because they don’t want the others see they are ugly.
The end.🎭🎭🎭
